Terrific Artwork and Great StoriesMar 11, 2010 This is a graphic novel for the CBS television show Heroes. It provides background stories not shown on tv with colorful and amazing artwork done by many different artists with different styles. If you're a fan of the show, I definitely recommend this book. There are more volumes on their way out too show be sure to look for them.
HEROES, VOLUME 1Apr 21, 2009 Very interesting book. Well-illustrated and compelling story line.
Excellent! I highly recommend it to fans of the show HEROES and all fans
of good storytelling.
Heroes Vol. 1Jan 19, 2009 It's just like watching the show. Great filler in between episodes, plus it expands the story of the characters.
I like what they were trying to do but.....Jan 01, 2009 As a longtime fan of comics I was intrigued by the Heroes mini comics that they released on their website. I read then for a few weeks but I am not very diligent with keeping up with online subscriptions or weekly releases and eventually forgot about them. As such I was happy to see these released in print form.
First off, every artist in the book did an excellent job. Every story is drawn well and eloquently written. Unfortunately the characters that are newly introduced or had just small parts in the TV series can seem somewhat 2 dimensional. You can't really get acquainted with the characters and, thus, have a hard time becoming immersed in the stories. This may have alot to do with the format with which they were released.
All in all this is a good book which will give you a better look into the Heroes Universe (Lindeman and Anthony Petrelli's 1st meeting) just don't be expecting any "necessary" plot twists.
Heroes bonus season one materialDec 22, 2008 This graphic novel is not amazingly drawn but it gives a ton of background information on people such as Mr. Petreli and Linderman's background story and wireless. Any avid heroes fan would greatly enjoy this book. It is quick reading though (an hour or two depending on how long you look at the pictures).
