 Old fashioned thicknessMar 07, 2010
I ordered these training pants for my grandson. They are an excellent value but what I am more impressed with is their thickness. You can't buy training pants like these in the stores. They remind me of the ones my own kids wore 30 years ago. If there is a little accident, these pants absorb it well, no drips or puddles. Very soft, thick, and a great value. They also shipped in 3 days.

These training pants are soft, and will contain small pee accidents on the way to the potty but not much else. Nice for the more advanced training tots. My son is just starting and not quite ready for these (but they sure are ADORABLE on!). Happy to have these ahead of time for BIG BOY undie reward as he progresses.

Originally I was looking for some sort of rubber or vinyl pants like I had when I was kid. I could not find them so I decided to give these a try. They work OK. They are absorbant and not too bulky. I have had no issues with the absorbant padding inside bunching up out of the dryer as others have stated. They will stop the pee from running down the leg and making a puddle, so that's good. But the pee will soak all the way through the fabric and can still make a wet spot on the outer pants. That's one thing I don't like (minus one star). There is no waterproof barrier (like vinyl or rubber) between the padding and the over pants, if you will. It seems to me that the whole point of training pants is to keep the outer clothes dry in case of an accident. My son liked wearing them well enough as they have fun designs and look like "big boy underpants". They are a good intermediate step between pull ups and regular underwear.

These pants are of no use. I bought them after reading so many positive reviews but I was not impressed by them at all. They do not soak even half of the average 2 year old pee. They are loose fit and can not hold an accident. Think you may need to clean/ change all your carpet if your baby removes the pant after an accident. I will not reconned anyone to buy this.

I had a hard time finding cotton training pants but thought that these might be the answer to my problem. I was a bit disappointed because they are so thin. They do fit well but I would like double the padding.
